Artfully Gifted was born of necessity. According to the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), the employment rate for working-age people with disabilities is only 20.6%, compared to 69% for those without a disability. Interestingly, people with disabilities are far more likely to own a business than those without a disability. Separate reports from ODEP and Disabled World show that nearly 15% of people with a disability are self-employed! For these reasons, our vision is to create an environment where people with disabilities can pursue entrepreneurship so they can earn a living doing what they love.
